try de express manicure (S$6) & pedicure (S$9) at jojo beauty salon... it includes trimming & buffering... very worth it (and ya u need not fly to bangkok to have a nicely done cheap manicure!)
de manicurist 小丽 (a young, shy, polite, fair chinese lady) has steady hands and can draw delicate creatures like beetle, butterfly, flowers, santa claus etc, for just S$1 per nail!she is very 细心and can take about an hour to complete de express mani & pedicure for every customer... keke not sure if itz a boom or bane for her bossie >_<
de salon uses OPI polish, so itz extremely worth it... you need not sign any package...
ur galfrens can chit-chat with you on this lazy couch while waiting for their turn!remember to book an appointment wif dem as dey are usually packed, especially on weekends...
