falling sick

it's been a long time since i fell so sick... tis time down wif running nose & persistent cough for 3 weeks... suspected nasal allergy & sinus infection...my weight dropped from 43 to 41kg, my lowest since teenage days...almost fainted in de bath last week cos of my low blood pressure... hope to recover fully soon, and to start my usual hang outs wif my frens & loved ones...& hav my weekly swims..getting tired of takin medicine :(

sorry peeps if i'm unable to join u lately for chill out & boozing...  my mama has forbidden my late nites & wil forbid further in months to come... but i know she jus cares for my health...

(kinda miss him takin me to de doc, cookin porridge for me, makin me take my medicine, being there for me)

amidst de GE fever, i'm deprived of being able to cast my vote & influence my future, as i'm in de walkover zone. but i certainly hope my country can get betta... issues which are irritating me as a S'porean:

1) Housing woes: being single, i cant own a HDB, & no matter how hard i work, i alone wun b able to afford de 20% downpayment for private (close to $200,000)...even if i get a HDB resale when im 35, i have to work my entire life in order to service de loan... my CPF will b wiped out, which ultimately affect my retirement savings.. my life would then revolve around working for a house... if i wanna my cash back, i wld hav to migrate...Is this living?! (N there r plans to push back retirement age...gosh how old do we have to work?!)

2) High salaried M: upsets me tat they are earning million dollar salaries, funded by taxpayers...de amt can be pumped for better welfare for the poor, better healthcare at lower cost!?

3) GST: if ever GST needs to be raised for govt revenue, tax shd b on luxury goods only...for income equality i.e. rich shd pay more!

4) Singaporeans: we shd favour sporeans for our greater contributions...many foreigners r enjoyin & reaping de sows our grandparents & we hav seeded...N we locals shd not embrace every bloody ang moh we see on de streets! what hav dey done for our country?

5) Overcrowding buses & MRT: i hav nvr tot of buying a car (which i feel is a liability) but de long waiting time for bus & havin to squeeze wif ah tiongs & blangs hav made me think otherwise! ownin a new car now is simply a waste of my hard earned $$ (btw who benefits when COE $$ goes up?)

6) GLCs = legitimate co*ruption?

All i ask for is a comfy home and happy living wif my loved ones. Having to juggle my work now is oredi challenging...cant imagine if one day i have to start a family & have to handle kids...

Where have our hard earned $$ gone? Are we being exploited? I wonder wonder wonder...
